librarydojo is exactly what I needed to get real with my library and understand who stays, who goes, and where to go next. I used it recently to prep for a gig that was out of my norm and found some hidden gems as well as new ways to rework old favorites. I have a feeling it will become a staple in my gig prep process from now on.
Not just tidy.
Clarity under pressure.

Reveal patterns
Surface the tracks you can rely on and the pockets of your library you’ve been overlooking so momentum never drops

Prep you can trust
Highlight the blind spots that slow you down, from missing cues to unreliable metadata, so you know what tracks hold up.

Shape your sound
Spot energy trends, genre habits, and gaps in your collection without losing the music that defines you.

Workflows that matter
Build a workflow that survives real sets and real libraries, without constant reorganisation.
Performance-first
Built from real DJ libraries
Crafted with the late-night organisers, the obsessive taggers and the ones who…aren’t that
librarydojo is shaped by patterns observed across hundreds of working DJ libraries and thousands of tracks.
The system reflects what actually breaks, slows you down, or gets ignored under real performance conditions.
This tool is not just about organising; it genuinely helps you rediscover all the great music you’ve forgotten. So many tracks get lost in the noise of new releases or classics, and this just brings your entire library back into focus. You can use it for sparking fresh ideas and keeping your creative flow going.

Why I built librarydojo

I destroyed 20 years of music because I couldn’t face my own library.
After years of DJing and analysing real DJ libraries, I kept seeing the same problem repeat.
Libraries grow faster than the systems meant to support them.
Under pressure, that turns into hesitation, second-guessing, and tracks that are hard to rely on.
librarydojo is the system I wish I had back then.
One that protects your history, highlights what actually matters, and holds up across gear and real-world conditions.
Five disciplines
The 5C Method: The engine behind your library
librarydojo is built around five core disciplines that shape how a DJ library grows, performs, and stays usable over time.
Each tool in the system supports one or more of these disciplines, so effort stays focused and decisions stay consistent.

Your library. Five disciplines
A practical library framework for giving you total clarity without the overwhelm

Crate digging
Surface overlooked tracks, gaps, and options that disappear under in large libraries

Curation
Understand the habits shaping what you add, and where they dilute your sound

Categorisation
Catch missing prep and inconsistent tags that slow down selection when you need to act fast

Creativity
Open up new blends and pathways using the music you already own

Care
Catch low-quality files and duplicates, before they spread
Prep that lasts
Work on clarity, not chores
Most library tools focus on tidying data.
librarydojo focuses on helping you decide what actually deserves your attention.
01
Get clarity fast
Quickly see which parts of your library are solid, and which ones deserve attention before they slow you down
02
See the truth behind your tags
See how your tags actually get used over time, how they influence your sets and where they stop being helpful
03
Get more from each dig
Understand how new additions fit into your library, so growth stays intentional and selection stays fast

FAQ
Answers to the most common questions
Will it change or overwrite my existing cues, tags, or playlists?
No. librarydojo never edits your files directly.
It analyses your library and gives you playlists and insights that you choose to act on inside Rekordbox. You stay in control of what changes, when, and how.
Do I have to delete tracks or start my library over?
No. There’s no reset and no forced cleanup.
librarydojo works with the library you already have and helps you decide what’s worth keeping, fixing, or ignoring.
What if my library is already huge and messy – can it still help?
Yes. That’s exactly the situation it’s designed for.
Large, long-lived libraries are where patterns, blind spots, and reliability issues become hardest to see. The system helps narrow focus so you’re not trying to fix everything at once.
My library is bigger than 50,000 tracks, can I still use librarydojo?
Yes, however librarydojo is optimised for libraries with fewer than 50,000 tracks.
How long does it take to see results after I sign up?
You’ll see a clear snapshot as soon as your library is analysed for the first time.
Most DJs get useful insight on their first session, and then make progress in short, focused passes over time.
What DJ software libraries does librarydojo support?
librarydojo is designed for rekordbox v6+ via XML export.
Will it work with the free version of rekordbox?
Yes. You can export your library XML from the free version of Rekordbox and use it with Librarydojo.
What operating systems are supported?
librarydojo runs in the browser and works on macOS and Windows. There’s nothing to install.
How is librarydojo different to other DJ tools?
Most DJ tools focus on tidying metadata or fixing individual fields.
librarydojo focuses on understanding how your library actually behaves over time and helping you make better decisions with what you already own.
It’s a system, not a one-off cleanup.
Why isn’t a one time tag cleanup enough?
Because libraries keep growing and evolving over time.
Habits, gaps, and inconsistencies return as new music is added. librarydojo helps you see and correct those patterns over time, instead of treating symptoms once and hoping they don’t come back.
What if I want to cancel?
You can manage all aspects of your subscription, including cancelling at any time from the dashboard here or using the ‘Manage my subscription’ button on your profile page within the app.
What payment types do you accept?
We use Lemonsqueezy for our payment provider and they accept all common payment types.

1 Playlist downloads only work with local music files, rekordbox doesn’t yet support importing streaming tracks
2 Larger libraries will still load, but only the first 50,000 tracks will be processed
